1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of unbowedkings.com, the Unbowed Kings community, the Oracle, quizzes, dispatches, digital products, and related services operated by JJ Roberts (“we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Services. By using the Services, you represent that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

3. Nature of the Services

Unbowed Kings provides educational content, community features, self-assessment tools, and informational resources related to masculine development, relationships, and personal sovereignty as presented in Rise of the Shadow Queen.

The Services do not provide medical, psychological, psychiatric, legal, financial, or other professional advice. Content is for informational and educational purposes only. You are solely responsible for decisions you make and actions you take based on information obtained through the Services.

4. Accounts and Access

Certain features, including Citadel access, may require registration or authentication. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity occurring under your account.

We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, misused the Services, or created risk for us or other users.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Services for unlawful, harmful, harassing, abusive, or fraudulent purposes.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the Services — including text, graphics, branding, book excerpts, dispatches, maps, quizzes, software, and design — is owned by or licensed to JJ Roberts and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, or commercially exploit any part of the Services without prior written permission, except for personal, non-commercial use expressly allowed by the site.

7. User Submissions

If you submit questions, messages, emails, quiz responses, or other content through the Services, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, store, process, and display that content as needed to operate, improve, and support the Services.

You represent that your submissions do not violate any law or third-party rights.

8. Third-Party Services

The Services may integrate with or link to third-party platforms such as authentication providers, email services, video hosts, or social networks. We are not responsible for third-party terms, policies, or practices. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any content, advice, or output — including from the Oracle or community features — will meet your expectations or produce any particular outcome.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, JJ ROBERTS AND AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND PARTNERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICES SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS (USD $100), EXCEPT WHERE LIABILITY CANNOT BE EXCLUDED BY LAW.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless JJ Roberts from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Services, your submissions, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Courts in England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms or the Services, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction provide otherwise.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
